The Holy Monastery of Saint Paraskevi
Located in Washington, Texas, USA — just 22 miles northeast of Brenham and 16 miles southwest of Navasota — the Holy Monastery of Saint Paraskevi offers a place of prayer, repentance, and worship in the tradition of Athonite Orthodox Monasticism.
The Holy Monastery of Saint Paraskevi was founded in June 2004 by the Reverend Elder Ephraim († 2019) of Pilotheou and Arizona with the blessing of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. Continuing the missionary work of Saint Paraskevi who gave her life for the salvation of her fellowmen and revealed to them the knowledge of Christ, Her Holy Monastery was established in Texas to offer a hesychastic environment according to the Athonite Orthodox Christian Tradition.
